FAQs

Here are a few Frequently Asked Questions as a reference:

- What days are classes available? The only classes I currently have scheduled are on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. However, I am able to create a Saturday morning class based upon interest. If you are interested in a Saturday class, please contact me at elizabethabryant@gmail.com to be put on a waiting list. Please check the "calendar" tab to view the dates for each class.

- What is each classes' curriculum? What will the children do? For more information on this please see the "about the music" tab and read the class descriptions.

- What are the ages of the children you teach? The ages of the students I teach range from 18 months to 5 years. I have split the classes into 18 months to 36 months and 3 years to 5 years. If your child has a sibling in an older class (or you have a scheduling conflict) I am somewhat flexible with putting children in a class that is close to the specified age.

Can I stay for class or should I drop my child off? From experience I have observed that children do much better when their parents are not present. If your child has never been in the care of another person, they may have a more difficult time but we will do so many fun things to distract them that I'm sure they'll get over it quickly! There will be an end of semester performance for each class that each parent is strongly encouraged to attend. In any case, please be punctual in dropping off and picking up your child. Classes begin and end on time.

- What should my child wear to class? Children should wear clothing that allows them to move freely, and should remove shoes prior to class. Children learn and feel rhythm vibrations in their feet. It is recommended that they wear socks.

- What if my child misses a class? If you arrange with me in advance, your child may be able to attend a make-up class. I cannot, however, allow students to come and go whenever they please so as to allow minimal disruption to the other students. I also cannot deduct the missed class from the total classes paid for so it is in your best interest to arrange a make-up class in advance. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

- What are the prices for the classes? Each class has a semester tuition that is split into 15 hour-long sessions. The semester tuition for each class per student is $120. Upon registration $20 is due and will be applied to the entire semester tuition. This deposit will hold your place in class. The balance of $100 may be paid in full or it may be paid in 5 installements of $20 each due on the first class of the month (specific dates will be given to you should you choose this route). I do not offer "pay per class" options.

- What are the sizes of each class? To offer the children as much one-on-one time as possible, I have limited the size of each class to 8 children.
